The elements of Feng Shui
Feng Shui energy (or Chi) of an object, person or place, refers to what is in your space, and the flow of Chi is unique to each living environment. These forces are always moving and always seeking balance (Yin and Yang), based on the five elements of water, wood, metal, earth and fire, and is believed to affect everything we do. Each element has its own particular energy that radiates to everyone and everything else in the area.
Although the properties of Feng Shui elements are of particular importance, what is more important is the positive or destructive that each element can have on the other. If, for example, has a room that lacks the wood element, would provide an element of water and because water is what allows the wood to grow. Feng Shui items can be harmonious and unified, or can be mounted with the conflict and cause anxiety, worry and depression. Each element has its unique characteristics, and I have listed below:
Water
Water is fluid, and can point networking, communication, professional opportunities and wealth. It also indicates the travel and communication and is related to literature, arts and media. Water can be both gentle (as gentle rain) or violent (like a hurricane.) Water feeds all living beings, but can also erode the hardest rock.
Wood
Wood promotes energy creative development. Can be flexible and bending like the willow, or strong and unyielding, like oak. Wood is sociable and interested community. It also represents the birth and early childhood.
Metal
Metal elements are transmitters and driving energy. Metal generates the harvest, business and success. On the negative side, The metal also indicates the sword and can be destructive and violent. Various types of metals are considered very valuable for their relationship to health. For example, many people carry a copper bracelet for this reason. But too much metal in a living space may attract too much energy and can be destructive.
Earth
Earth gives stability and represents permanence. Is associated with real estate and legacies. Earth can be patient, fair, honest and methodical. However, it can also be smothering and demanding. Should be used sparingly.
Fire
The element of fire is considered the most powerful of the five elements and represents the energy and passion. Also may be a sign of danger. When this is not too much fire can be destructive. Fire warms and cheers, but can also burn and destroy.
Feng Shui for believers, each of these elements has its own unique personality that either allows you to "get along with" other elements or be at odds with them when the balance is not good. To find that balance, which in reality would require a systematic review of spiritual Feng Shui. Congratulations to seeking enlightenment Feng Shui, can only seek and find!
